CORE Staff Info and Application
This position is for Highschool-aged followers of Jesus that want to use their time and energy to serve at a camp committed to making disciples of Jesus Christ. Serving as CORE Staff at All Tribes Christian Camp means spending a portion of your summer working at All Tribes Christian Camp, using your gifts and talents to serve Jesus.
CORE Staff details:
To qualify to become CORE Staff, you must serve a minimum of 4 weeks at All Tribes Christian Camp. If only serving 4 weeks, all 4 weeks must be during camps and one of those camps must be VBS
As CORE Staff, you will be eligible to have donors contribute to support you in your role. The maximum amount you can receive will be based on the number of weeks you work during the summer.
You must be at least 16 years old by December 31st, 2025. (If younger please inquire by email to director@alltribes.org)

Training
Various aspects of this position will require special training. All training will be provided onsite throughout the duration of the contract, with a High Ropes training session taking place before employment begins on May 29th and 30th. Mandatory Overnight Staff Training takes place on July 3-5th at the camp.

May 29th-30th - High Ropes Training (Required for all staff that will be facilitating High Ropes throughout the summer)
July 3rd-5th - Overnight Staff Training Weekend - Start date of employment.
July 7th-10th - Prep for Sports Camp/Program Planning for The ROCK’s
July 13th-17th - Sports Day Camp
July 20th - 24th - VBS Prep week
July 27th - 31st - VBS Day Camp
August 1st - 4th - Time Off
August 5th - 7th - Prep for The ROCK’s
August 10th - 15th - JROCK Overnight Camp
August 17th - 21st - Mini-ROCK Overnight Camp
August 21st - 22nd - Free Overnight Staff Party - Supper and Breakfast provided (For all staff that worked/Will work at overnight camps in 2026)
August 22nd - Last day of employment for 2026
August 24th - 29th - The ROCK (CORE Staff as campers)
A successful applicant:
Is an Evangelical Christian who is in agreement with One Hope Canada’s articles of faith and doctrine
Is at least 16 years of age by May 29th, 2026
Is an energetic, motivated individual with a positive attitude and strong communication skills
Shows an elevated level of responsibility, professionalism, leadership competence and a desire to learn
Can follow instructions and respect other team members
Is safety conscious and works efficiently in a team environment
Enjoys working with children and youth
Has a willingness to take on challenges and push themselves to expand their comfort zone
Additional qualifications that would be considered assets when considering applicants:
NLS or Bronze Cross Lifeguarding Certification
High Ropes Level 1 or 2 (or equivalent experience)
Plays a musical instrument/can lead worship
Standard First Aid and CPR
Skills in Drama and Performance Arts
Responsibilities:
Complete mandatory spring training and high ropes certification
Assist with the planning and implementation of summer camp programming
Participating in the supervision of children in a group setting. Helping to lead games, activities and discussions
Participating in staff team events, training and discussions
House keeping duties (cleaning and maintaining facilities, collecting and removing garbages and assisting with food prep etc.)
Facility yard care (lawn care, planting and watering flowers, trail clearing, etc.)
