BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Leading Today, Planning for Tomorrow
The Board of Directors guide our organization, develop policy to ensure wise use of resources, and serve as community cheerleaders for Camp.
With responsibility for the management, operations, assets, and compliance with applicable regulations, each member of our Board of Directors serve important and varied roles in leading Camp today and planning for Camp tomorrow.
Beginning in 2008, the Board of Directors conducted a review of our present facilities. The Capital Development Plan has since resulted in the addition of new facilities including our new gymnasium/recreation centre and camper cabins, all built debt-free. In 2014, All Tribes began an operational review and ten-year strategic planning process, and this plan was finalized and approved officially in 2015.
Each member of our Board of Directors offers particular insight, advice, and expertise to our organization. Many members have participated in Camp as campers over the years, others have kids who have been or are campers now, and all generously give of their time and talents as volunteers.
The Board meets four times each year in person, and conducts other business throughout the year by e-mail or teleconference, in addition to specific committee meetings.
