Project Summary

As part of our Board’s capital development plan, it was decided to build a new gymnasium recreation center building, along with 4 new cabins (2 units in each) that would replace our aging wood cabins. The Gym building is getting closer to completion every day, and the slabs for the cabins are poured with framing to begin any day soon! Theses new facilities will be a great help in our current programs and a fantastic resource for use by local churches, groups,  and community organizations that share our vision and passions.

Buildings Design

  • Combines Gymnasium and Ping-Pong recreation area  in one building
  • 45'x70’ Elementary School size court
  • Eight new cabin units in four new 24'x30' cabins, each unit will accomodate 6-7 people, with a private bathroom.
  • Reception and meeting space for up to 250 in new Gymnasium

Letter from Millie (Jacobs) Troyer

Millie Troyer, FounderGreetings from St. Joseph Island and Marion, Indiana!

How good is our God in allowing me to call both places HOME and what a privilege to have a host of friends on both sides of the border! God is indeed GOOD all the time!

This Christmas, I had much time to reminisce about past Christmases and how the property has improved over the last 40 years. I shall never forget that first Christmas Eve I spent at camp sleeping in a snow bank under the stars! The threeroom cabin without electricity, water and a bathroom left much to be desired, but that night was filled with love, peace, joy and dreams of a camp for kids.

So many of those dreams have materialized and thousands of campers, young and old, have benefitted from the camp. In my wildest dreams, I never foresaw all that God would do with that 100-acre property! Our present facilities have served us well for summer camping except for rainy days. We have also been in need of more sleeping space. Bringing in mobile homes is quite a chore. The Lodge is inadequate for large groups. The answer? A Multi-Purpose Gymnasium Building and 8 new cabin units for over night accomodation!

The building will expand the activities of the camp considerably and make year-round camping possible in the future. It will also permit us to serve the community with a wide variety of summer as well as winter activities.

Without further explanation, I invite you to carefully and prayerfully consider being part of this ongoing dream! Your prayers and financial support would be welcomed. Thanks again for allowing me to be a part of your lives. God is indeed good all the time!

All Tribes Camp Mission and Vision

All Tribes Christian Camp is an independent, non-denominational local ministry registered as a Canadian Charity. Our vision and mission statement explain the purpose behind the building of this new facility. Outside of the God-glorifying mission below, this new building would end up being "just a building."

All Tribes' Mission is to introduce children, young people and adults to the good news of Jesus Christ and to instill a deeper and greater passion for God. All Tribes' Vision is to serve local churches and families through Bible teaching and practical discipleship given during camps, retreats, and events.
